Triplets are harder than Twins, Really?

Now before you get your panties in a bunch, it was an attention-seeking title! lol

I picked up the kids from preschool, I had to go to the post office. I couldn't go before I got the kids, because I had to wait for a signed delivery. So I had the babysitting girl with me and the kids haven't seen her since the week before last.

Pick up the kids, get to the P.O. and we all walk in - 2 and 2, holding hands (that's the perfect scenario), it's like herding cats at this point to get them to hold hands and get through the door!! I get the package all labeled in the appropriate envelope and in to the main area we go. Constant reminders to not touch things, no licking the counter (yes, seriously), don't touch each other, blah, blah. Really? Where did these children come from and WHY are they regressing? Because they are so excited to see the babysitting girl and are a bit wound up. But I had to get this stuff mailed out ASAP.

Get that done, walk out 2 and 2, this time they are listening, because I instilled the fear of no McDonald's in them for not behaving, so they're trying to win that back (didn't work, I held my ground!) As we're walking out a lady says, "Two sets of twins?" I said, "No, triplets and a friend." I get a sympathetic look and the your hands are full statement.

Really?? Triplets are harder than TWO sets of twins?? Really? How? I would really think that having 2 sets of multiples would be more challenging than triplets. You would have two sets of kids at different ages and stages...

But whatever...pull your panties out now MoMs...lol

Thanks for the reminder that I have to go to the post office tomorrow...and I'm now NOT looking forward to it!

Ugh I hate the post office. That's the one place you're sure to find an unpleasant customer in line who doesn't appreciate children. And also the one place my kids can't seem to ever behave themselves!!!

But yeah, I agree that two sets of twins would be harder or maybe as hard as triplets. It depends on the babies, on the difference in ages, etc... Either way, it's HARD! LOL

All the comments are really getting to me. I don't know if I've just heard them too many times or if I think the people are just morons. Way to hold your ground though!!
