Are you ready to vote?
Are you taking your kids to vote with you? I am. I am setting the example of how important my vote is and how seriously I take it. They know who's running for president - the man with white hair and the brown man. I have told them their names each time they see them. But leave it to a small child to just say it how it is...
But I can say that I'm ready for Election Day to be over. I'm sick of all the recorded phone messages. The mail. The commercials. I'm done with that. I'm ready to get on with it.
SO GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

I know what you mean about the commercials. I'm SO ready for those to be done.
I'm taking the girls with. I think it's important, since I'm in political communication for my degree anyway, and because not enough people are involved and know how the goverment even works. I want them to see how they can make a difference and to appreciate their right to vote.
I will miss the SNL skits, though...
I'm voting! I don't know if I'll take the kids because the lines might be really long and we have a bunch of propositions on the ballet too.
But when they were contained, I took them!
Yes I will miss the SNL skits. This past Saturday was dullsville. I was disappointed. I stayed up on purpose, but fell asleep anyways! Oh well.
I have visions of my kids running under all the booths since there is so much to vote on around here too. I may drag dh with me and bring treat bags for them to keep busy after the initial excitement wears off for them after 30 seconds!!
