The other day I picked up the kids from preschool and we had some errands to run. It was raining all morning and I had some testing to do, I'm still at it trying to find a transcription job...Anyways, by the time I picked up the kids, it had stopped raining and the sun was shining and all was right with the world. We decide to head out for lunch before the grocery store, they all want Wendy's. That went amazingly well. They ate in record time, something not normal for my children! I decided that since they did so well, we'd head around the corner to the church playplace. Unfortunately they didn't open that up until 1:30 and it was only 12:30. So after hitting the potty there and washing off what was left of lunch, we leave. We head back over to the grocery store, since I had to get some stuff for Tyler's team snack. Promised the kids we'd head back to the playplace another day, now that we know what time they were open.
We get in to the Giant Eagle and I got the bright idea of dumping the kids off in the Eagles Nest (a daycare type place you can drop the kids for about an hour and shop in peace - did I mention in peace??) So the kids are super excited. Ayden's been in there once, so he was the resident pro. They just couldn't contain themselves, they were so excited. I sign them in, tell her they have all just pottied and should be good to go. I run - I mean start shopping. I get to the end of the produce aisle and checking out the organic section (I can still see the daycare area at this point) I hear the first call over the loudspeaker - #9 needs to return to the Eagle's Nest. Nice. I hightail it back there. Ayden has to go potty. Niiiiiceeee. So I take all 3 since my kids are still on the same poop and pee schedule - I know, right? The toilets are on the clear other side of the store. I drag all 3 to the bathroom and make everyone go. Ayden and Dylan poop. Ryley just pees. Swears she doesn't have to poop. I drag them all the way back through the store to drop them back off. Should be good to go, right? I get a few more aisles when I hear it again - #9 needs to return to the Eagle's Nest. WTF! So I get myself back there and it's Roo that has to go - AGAIN. So I drag her all the way back across the store for her to poop. Drag her all the way back and deposit her with explicit instructions that if I have to come back - then everyone's getting yanked and we won't be doing this again! So I pick up where I left off and you guessed it. Another freaking page for #9 to return to the Eagle's Nest. I was done, the cart was overflowing, I just needed to find one more thing, which has proved impossible the last few times I'd been there. So I get there and it's Ayden again. I just sign everyone out and make mention of the lost item, by now, they just feel sorry for me, so one of the workers offers to find the item I crave. I say it's not in the place, that she's assuming it is. She looks, I'm right. We hunt it down, nevermind that Ayden has to potty (which he apparently didn't, since he never mentioned it and didn't have an accident). So we find it in the most nonobvious place and I check out. Oh.My.Dear.God. Why did I think it was a good idea to grocery shop with them? I had them with me for check out and I was ready to pop open the bottle of wine on the conveyor belt!! So we leave and ya. Can you believe that? Trust me, I won't be repeating that performance any time soon. Grocery store trips will be reserved for ME time...
So that's my story of the week.

I don't know what kind of experience you have with transcription and what kind of schooling and whether or not you want to work at home, but check out this website. I work for this company and I.LOVE.IT ! http://www.transcendservices.com/
Hope you can find something there for you!
I swear you just stressed me out reading that! I was having horrible flash backs.
Oh my and I was looking forward to the day when the trips could go to the Eagle's Nest. Ava loves going in there and begs me to take her to Giant Eagle!
Thanks Laura! I have a friend that works for them also and loves them. I actually tested for them at the very beginning of my journey back into MT - been out for about 4 years. I didn't score high enough at that time. I'm going to give them another shot in May, if I don't find anything by then. I'm getting frustrated. I've tested everywhere and sent my resume to everyone under the sun. I'm not new to this, but because I don't have that recent experience, they are saying no thanks. Doesn't matter that I am passing the tests...grrrrr... but thanks for that lead!
I'm sorry to hear about your Eagles Nest experience. I've been counting the days until my kids are old enough to go there. It will make my life so much easier during baseball season if I can shop with them there. Hopefully my kids will be willing to stay and play. At least our bathrooms are right next to the Eagles Nest!
